SENIOR (2021)
Named Big West Defensive Player of the Year and named to the All-Big West First Team ... Garnered NFCA All-West Region honors for the second time in her career ... Played in 51 games at catcher ... Joined 2011 honoree K.C. Craddick as the two Titans to be named Big West Defensive Player of the Year since the inception of the honor in 2011 ... Had a perfect fielding percentage of 1.000 during Big West play with 24 games played, 90 total chances to with 84 putouts and six assists ... Caught two of the eight runners that tried to steal on her ... Had an overall fielding percentage of .983 with 239 chances, 217 putouts, 18 assists and four errors ... Her .990 fielding percentage for her career is tied for 10th all-time in program history ... Posted numbers of .396/.409/.612 at the dish ... Led the team in batting average at .396 and was second in the Big West with 55 hits (139 at-bats) ... Drove in 34 RBI and had five homers ... Named Big West Field Player of the Week on Feb. 15 and March 1.
SENIOR (2020) - Canceled early due to COVID-19 outbreak
Started 23 of the team's 24 games behind the plate.. hit .200 (9-for-45) with a home run and six RBI.. also scored three runs and stole a base.. launched her third career home run in a loss to BYU at San Diego State.. behind the dish, made just one error in 129 attempts (.993 fielding percentage) while throwing out 34.6% of would-be base stealers.. ranks fifth all-time with a .992 fielding percentage.
JUNIOR (2019)
Earned All-Big West Second Team honors for the second consecutive season... posted a .232 average, .294 on-base percentage, and a .312 slugging percentage... collected 29 hits and had six multi-hit games, including three three-hit games... had seven doubles and a home run... scored 19 runs and drove in 11 more... dominated in conference play hitting .380 in Big West action to raise her overall batting average 99 points... posted a career game on May 10 against UCR, going 3-for-3 with a double, home run, and four RBI to help the Titans clinch their fourth straight Big West crown... went 1-for-6 (.167) in the NCAA Regionals... became just the 2nd catcher in program history and 12th Titan ever to post a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage.
SOPHOMORE (2018)
Earned NFCA All-Region Third Team and All-Big West Second Team… started all 60 games behind the plate last year…collected 34 hits in 130 at-bats (.262 average)… had six multi-hit games including a pair of three-hit contests against North Dakota State (2/16) and San Jose State (3/8)… was fourth on the team with 27 RBI… tied for the team lead with seven multi-RBI games including two four-RBI game… recorded two walk-off hits including a walk-off grand slam against UCSB on 3/31… behind the plate, she sported a .982 fielding percentage in 271 total chances… threw out 35.6% of would-be base stealers… went 2-11 (.182) in the NCAA Regionals with a double and a run scored.
FRESHMAN (2017)
Made 10 appearances this season, mainly serving as a defensive replacement in those games… she held a 1.000 fielding percentage behind the plate… scored her first run as a Titan Feb. 22 against CSU Bakersfield.
HIGH SCHOOL
A 2016 graduate from Bishop Amat High School in La Puente, Calif… played catcher for the Lancers for four seasons (2013-16)… was a two-time Second Team All-Del Rey League (2013, 2014)… a First Team All-Del Rey League selection her freshman year… during her senior season, she hit .277 with two home runs and 17 RBI and had a .992 fielding percentage behind the dish… her junior year, she hit .208 with one home run and 11 RBI… her sophomore year was her best, she hit a stellar .377 with an on base percentage of .410 and slugging percentage of .571… helped her team win consecutive league championships… earned High Honors all four years ... in travel ball, played for Firecrackers Brashear.

Born in La Habra, Calif… parents are Martin and Natalie Valenzuela… is an only child… chose CSF because the family atmosphere makes her feel at home and her coaches and teammates inspire her to be great… currently undeclared, but thinking about majoring in human services because she wants to help others… favorites include: Adrian Gonzalez (athlete); anything (food); Beyonce, Rihanna, anything Hip Hop (music/artists); The Sandlot (movie); Will Ferrell (actor).
