FULLERTON, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton softball swept Saturday's doubleheader against the Boise State Broncos. The Titans won game one by a score of 2-0 and then took the second game, 3-2. The third and final game of the series will begin at 9:30 a.m. PT on Sunday. The game will be streamed live on BigWest.TV

GAME ONE
Senior Sophie Frost posted her first complete game shutout of the season. In her third overall complete game, she was in a bit of a spot in the first inning with two runners on and just one out. But the Titans worked a 153 double play to get out of the inning. She settled in from there allowing just two more hits the rest of the way, one in the second and the other in the seventh game. She walked four batters and struck out four as well to earn her third win of the season.

Fullerton struck first in the bottom of the second off an RBI single by freshman shortstop Peyton Toto. Designate player Irie Siofele scored on the play but catcher Julia Valenzuela was out at home to end the inning.

Megan Delgadillo singled and stole second in the bottom of the third before KK Humphreys drove her home to extend the lead to 2-0 for the Titans.

GAME TWO
Toto continued her strong day at the plate as she hit her first collegiate homer in the bottom of the third to put the Titans on top.

The Titans then recorded three hits and scored two runs in the bottom of the fourth to extend the lead to 3-0. Valenzuela doubled to bring home Remington Ross and then Alyssa Hernandez's pinch-hit single scored Valenzuela.

Boise State responded in the top of the fifth with two runs to cut the lead to 3-2. Savannah Serrata ultimately earned the win with a line of 4.1 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, 2 BB and 1 K. Fellow freshman Ellie Zellien relieved her and earned her first-career save. She threw 2.2 scoreless innings, allowing just one hit and walked one batter.
