FULLERTON, Calif. - Another busy week awaits the Cal State Fullerton softball team as the squad will play six games in the week. On Monday, Feb. 22, the Titans will play a doubleheader at San Diego beginning at 3 p.m. PT. The Titans then play at 4 p.m. PT at California Baptist on Wednesday. On Saturday, the team will host Boise State for a doubleheader beginning at 12 p.m. The three-game series against the Broncos will conclude on Sunday at 9:30 a.m.
The Titans went 2-4 last week with all four losses coming against a ranked Pac-12 opponents in No. 15 Arizona State (on the road) and No. 1 UCLA. Fullerton did sweep the LMU Lions on Feb. 18.
Cal State Fullerton has been picked to win their fifth consecutive Big West Championship per the conference's preseason coaches poll.
Julia Valenzuela (Field Player) and Bailey Wallace (Freshman) were named Big West Players of the Week on Feb. 15 for their performances in the Easton Invitational.
