SENIOR (2017): Earned NFCA All-West Region Third Team honors as well as All-Big West First Team honors… played in 55 of the team’s 56 games… hit a team high .345 with one home run and 16 RBI… led the team with a career-high 34 runs scored… second on the team with a career-high 76 total bases… had 18 multi-hit games including a four-hit game against CSU Bakersfield (Feb. 22)… collected a 13-game hit streak (tied for 12th longest in program history) from Apr. 1 to May 5 where she hit 19-53 (.358)… was 4-16 (.250) in the UCLA regional… finished her career with 33 career stolen bases which ranks 7th all-time.
JUNIOR (2016): Named to the All-Big West First Team… started 60 games this season in right field for the Titans… ended the season batting a team-high .373 with 57 hits, 22 runs, five doubles, five triples, one home run and 34 RBIs while swiping 14 stolen bases… collected 13 multi-hit games and 11 multi-RBI games…. hit her first career round-tripper with a three-run homer against Hawai’i on April 22nd… finished the season leading the Big West and ranking 16th nationally in triples…Earned two Big West Athlete of the Week honors on April 25th and May 16th.
SOPHOMORE (2015): Made 50 starts in the outfield for the Titans, earning All-Big West Honorable Mention…batted .329 with 51 hits, 33 runs, eight RBIs, and eight walks…swiped a perfect 7-for-7 on stolen bases…collected 13 multi-hit games…logged a 1.000 fielding percentage with 60 putouts…held a career-high 11-game hitting streak, while ending the season on a six-game streak.
FRESHMAN (2014): Appeared in 44 games, making 11 starts in the outfield…hit .286 (8-for-28), scored 16 times while stealing four bases and collected one RBI during the season…tallied her first career hit and run scored (1-for-3) on opening day against Loyola Marymount on Feb. 7…slapped her first double and RBI of her career (1-for-1) at Cal State Northridge in the last contest of the year on May 10.
EL CAMINO HIGH SCHOOL
Four-year varsity letter winner for the Wildcats under head coach Ron Mizushima… was named to the 2013 First-Team All-CIF Division One, first team All-North County, and All-Avocado West League during her senior season… 2013 Third-Team All-State Softball… was named her team’s best offensive player in 2012 and 2013… 2012 and 2013 scholar athlete… hit .464 with eight doubles, two four triples, and two home runs in 2013… played one season of basketball.
PERSONAL
Born in Oceanside, Calif…parents are Derek and Paula…has two brothers, Derrick and Charlie, and sister, Trina…nickenames are Dae Dae and D-rip...currently undeclared major…goal is to have success on the softball field and in the classroom…chose Fullerton because of the location…sister Trina Harrison also played softball at Fullerton and watching her play inspired her to accomplish the same feat...lists listening to music, watching TV, and hanging out with friends among some of her hobbies...favorites include: blue (color), pitbulls (dog), “In order to succeed, your desire for success should be greater than your fear of failure,” (quote), going to the beach, listening to music (hobbies), New York (place already visited), Bahamas (would like to visit), The Cheesecake Factory (place to take visitors in Fullerton), pasta (food), fruit (snack), Jamba Juice (drink), San Diego Chargers (athletic team), Derek Jeter (athlete), You Got Served (movie), The Game (musical artist), "Twilight," (book)...greatest accomplishment: having the winning hit in my freshman CIF game...I chose fullerton because: It was close to home and once I stepped on campus I knew I wanted to attend Fullerton...If I didn’t play softball, I would play: basketball.
