Cal State Fullerton
SENIOR (2017): Earned NFCA All-West Region First Team honors as well as All-Big West First team honors… served as the ace of the pitching staff, making 37 appearances with 26 starts… went an unbelievable 20-9 with a career-low 1.90 ERA… threw 192 innings, striking out 166 and walking 53… sported a .220 batting average against allowing 160 hits… threw 16 complete games, 8 of which were shutouts… started three of four games at the UCLA Regional… threw 14.2 innings, allowed 20 hits, 16 runs (14 earned), and struck out six.
Arizona State
REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2016): Led the Sun Devils in wins (12) and ERA (2.90). She also threw a no-hitter against Texas Tech in 2016, which puts both of her no-hitters coming against the Red Raiders.
JUNIOR (2015): Had to sit out her junior year due to transfer.
Kansas
SOPHOMORE (2014): led the Kansas pitching staff with 22 complete games and 218 innings pitched after posting a 20-15 record with a 2.50 ERA...Struck out a team-high 250 batters, which is the seventh most in program history...posted a career-best 15 punchouts vs. Chattanooga (2/9), which was a Kansas single-game record...was named to the NFCA All-Region Third Team...Also earned Big 12 Player of the Week (4/1).
FRESHMAN (2013): Posted a 12-6 record with a 2.19 ERA in her first season at Kansas...Led the team with a 7-3 record in Big 12 play and a 2.22 ERA...threw a no-hitter at Texas Tech, becoming the 23rd pitcher to throw a no-hitter in program history...had the most Big 12 wins by a Jayhawk pitcher since 2001...posted a complete game shutout against No. 1 Oklahoma..was named to the All-Big 12 Second...also earned Big 12 Pitcher of the Week (twice)...presented with Team Co-Freshman of the Year honor as well.
HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in softball all four years at Blue Springs HS in Blue Springs, Mo...was named All-State, Metro, Region, Conference, Area and District as freshman, while also earning Team MVP honors and breaking state-records for single-season winning percentage, wins in a season and RBIs in a championship game...posted eight no-hitters, three perfect games, 19 shutouts and was 30-0 as a freshman...went on to earn All-State, Metro, Region, Conference, Area and District honors for the next three years, which made her the first athlete in school history to be All-State for four years...holds the Missouri record for career wins with 93.
PERSONAL: Middle name is Lynn...parents are Robert and Lanette Kessler...her three cousins Holly, Brandi and Michelle play softball for Truman State, MSSU and Avila.
