CAL STATE FULLERTON
SENIOR (2017): Earned Big West Honorable Mention… made 20 appearances, starting in 11 games… went 5-2 with a career-low 2.19 ERA… in 76.2 innings, she struck out 68 while only walking 12… had a team-low .213 batting average against allowing just 62 hits… threw two shutouts including a ridiculous 12 inning shutout against UCR on Apr. 2… set her career-high 11 strikeouts Mar. 24 against Loyola Marymount… made one appearance in the UCLA Regional, pitching 3.1 shutout innings against San Jose State.
REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2016): Made 16 appearances and six starts in the circle for the Titans…Recorded a record 4-2 while posting a career-best 2.49 ERA…Rivera threw one complete game while allowing 14 earned runs in 39.1 innings pitched…She hurled her only shutout of the season against Princeton in the 4-0 victory on March 12th.
REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2015): Appeared in 13 games, making five starts…finished with a 2-2 record, 3.44 ERA and 25 strikeouts...held opponents to a team-low .259 batting average…among the 36 and 2/3 innings pitched, 36 were conference appearances to compliment a 2.72 ERA…led the Titans to a 4-1 victory over Cal Poly on April 26, tossing a complete game three-hitter with five strikeouts.
MONMOUTH UNIVERSITY
Competed one season for the Hawks under head coach Louie Berndt in the Northeast Conference...led the conference in ERA (1.45)...NEC Rookie of the Week (04.16.13).
FOUNTAIN VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL
Four-year varsity letter winner for the Barons under head coach Rick Aldrich in the Sunset League…registered a 14-11 record her senior season with a 1.59 ERA, seven shutouts and a conference best 232 strikeouts over 185 and 1/3 innings...Recorded 12 games with 10-plus strikeouts including 25 in a 16 inning contest versus Newport Harbor... accolades include Fountain Valley MVP, first team All-Sunset League and second team All-Orange County.

Born in Westminster, Calif…parents are Tim and Dawn Rivera…has one sister named Rochelle who played four seasons of softball at Santa Clara University…nicknames include Ris and C…majoring in psychology…career goal is to work for the FBI…favorites include: purple (color), dogs (Sammy and Katara), “Life is not measured by the number of breathes we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.” (quote)…hanging out with family (hobby), Tennessee (place already visited), any country to experience new things (would like to visit), Mexican (cuisine), Saltine Crackers (snack), Mountain Dew (drink), Pittsburgh Steelers, St. Louis Cardinals and the Los Angeles Angels (sports teams), Mike Trout and CJ Wilson (athletes), Saw movies and Step Brothers (movies), The Bachelor (TV show), Country (music)…I Chose Fullerton because: It allows me to follow my dreams of playing softball with great teammates and will allow me to get the degrees I need for my future in the FBI…If I didn’t play softball, I would play: soccer or volleyball…greatest accomplishment: working hard and getting to follow my dreams of becoming a Division I student-athlete…something most people would be surprised to know about me: I used to be a talented soccer player.
