A LOOK AT THE TITANS: Cal State Fullerton returns its top five scorers from last year's Big West Conference Championships led by junior Mark Anguiano, who finished second individually and was a first-team All-Big West selection as a sophomore, along with seniors Dakota Duerr and Scott Rubzin and sophomore Ryan Tetrault, who all posted top-20 finishes. The Titans, who posted three tournament victories in 2011, finished third at the Big West Championships -- just three shots behind conference champion UC Davis. Fullerton welcomes three newcomers to the fold this season in redshirt freshman Mark Jensma (Aliso Viejo, Calif./Aliso Niguel HS) and true freshmen Michael Choe (Brea, Calif./Brea Olinda HS) and Eric Cross (Riverside, CA/Riverside Poly HS).

RETURN TO THE PALOUSE: The Titans return to the Palouse Ridge Golf Club for the third consecutive season, looking to improve on their tie for 10th place finish (out of 14 teams) in 2011. Duerr was Fullerton's top finisher, shooting a three-round score of 220 (+7) for a tie for 31st on the par 71 course. Cal State Fullerton finished 13th in its first trip to Pullman in 2010 with David Lyons leading the way with a two-under, 214 to finish in a tie for 16th.

MAKING HIS MARK: Junior Mark Anguiano finished his sophomore campaign strong to emerge as the top scorer on the Fullerton squad, improving his team-best scoring average almost three strokes to a 72.59 average last season. Anguiano posted three, top-five individual finishes and a quintet of top-10 finishes as a sophomore in 2011 to go along with five sub-70 rounds.
