SOPHOMORE (2017)
Was a key arm in the bullpen for the Titans, making 27 appearances good for 62.1 innings of work… Made two appearances in the College World Series against Oregon State and Florida State… finished the season with a 6-3 record and a 2.89 ERA… has been primarily a reliever but did make three starts, earning two of his wins (May 7 at Hawaii and on Mar. 12 vs. Gonzaga in a “staff day” effort)… has a 3.47:1 strikeout to walk ratio (52 K, 15 BB)… logged his only save of the year on Mar. 19 against New Mexico… has not allowed a run in his last four appearances (5.1 IP, 2 H2 BB, 3 K) dating back to the last weekend of the regular season…. worked all three games of the Stanford Regional allowing just one hit in 2.1 innings… was named the Big West Conference’s Pitcher of the Week on May 1 after a 6-inning, 2-hit relief performance over UC Irvine… was named to the All-Big West Conference Second Team.

Appeared in four games and recorded three strikeouts... Went 1-0 and allowed five runs on six hits in four and 1/3 innings pitched.

A 2015 graduate from Ramona High School, home of the Bulldogs, in Ramona, California... Played three years of varsity baseball for the Valley League and was coached by Dean Welch... Hit .316 with 2HRs and pitched 7.2 relief innings as a sophomore... 5-2 record with a 1.37 ERA, 42Ks in 41 innings and earned Second Team All League as junior... As a senior he had a 6-5 record with a 1.43 ERA, 73Ks in 68 innings, Hit .380 with 2 HRs and earned Valley League Pitcher of the Year, Ramona Pitcher of the Year and First Team All-League.
