Fullerton (32-16, 12-3 Big West) is coming off another huge series victory taking two of three at UC Davis. They currently sit in first place in the Big West standings with a one-game lead over Hawai'i.

Going into the second to last weekend, the Titans rank in the top two in virtually every statistical category including first in average (.316), slugging percentage (.472), runs (78), RBI (73), triples (3), total bases (187), hit by pitch (12), sac bunts (17), and stolen bases (16). They also lead the conference with a .979 overall fielding percentage, a mark that ranks fourth in the entire NCAA. This season she has earned two Pitcher of the Week awards and four Freshman of the Week awards. The offense since conference started has been led by the bottom of the lineup in Kelsie Whitmore and Julia Valenzuela. The two juniors lead the team with a .400 batting average and sport a .475 OBP and a .462 OBP respectively. With the bottom two in the order constantly getting on-base, the top of the order has been key in driving in runs as Alexa Neil, Ari Williams, and Deshea Hill all lead the way with 11 RBI each.

Cal Poly (10-35, 4-11 Big West) sits in second to last in the Big West standings and have been eliminated from contention this season. The Mustangs are coming off a series loss to Long Beach State dropping the final two games of the season to the 49ers.

As a team, Cal Poly has struggled at the plate only hitting .196 in conference play. The offense is led by Lily Amos who is the only one above .300 currently hitting .302 in conference play. She also leads the team in home runs and RBI as well. In the circle, the pitching staff has been decent sporting a 3.19 ERA in 101 innings allowing opponents to hit .299 against them.
