SALT LAKE CITY – Christina Burkenroad and Rebecca Wilson combined for three second half goals to lead the Cal State Fullerton women's soccer team to a 3-1 victory at Utah on Sunday at Ute Field.

The Titans remain undefeated at 4-0 and are off to their best start since 2008, while Utah (2-1-1) suffered its first loss of the season.

After playing a scoreless first half, Fullerton scored the first goal of the match in the 67th minute as freshman Alba Barrios delivered a cross that Burkenroad buried in the high corner to beat Utah goalkeeper Lindsey Luke at the far post.

For Burkenroad, it was the fourth goal of her season, while Barrios provided her first career assist after scoring her first career goal on Friday.

Wilson then struck for her fourth goal of the year just three minutes later in the 70th minute as a Utah giveaway led to a sliding score as Connie Caliz issued her second assist of the year to give Fullerton a 2-0 advantage.

Utah then cut the score in half, 2-1, in the 76th minute as Kaycee Buckley was able to score on a rebound.

But Wilson put the match out of reach in the 89th minute on another giveaway. In a one-on-one with Luke after the keeper had lost possession, Wilson hammered home the insurance goal for the Titans.

Wilson has now scored two goals in one game twice this season.

Titan goalkeeper Jennifer Stuart made five saves in goal for the Titans as Fullerton handed the Utes their first loss of the season.

The Titans return to action on Friday at Titan Stadium hosting FGCU at 5 p.m. as part of a doubleheader with the Cal State Fullerton men's soccer team. The match will be a battle of the unbeatens as the Eagles are 3-0-1 in 2015.
