FRESHAMN (2015) Played in 20 matches and made five starts…scored two goals including a game winner while also tacking on one assist during her freshman campaign…scored Fullerton’s second goal in the 44th minute of a 4-2 win at Idaho State (08/28)…delivered a cross in the 67th minute that Christina Burkenroad buried in the high corner as Fullerton scored its first goal in an eventual 3-1 win at Utah (08/30)…came off the bench and scored the game-winning goal in the 56th minute as she collected a rebound from Rebecca Wilson’s blocked shot to propel the Titans to a 1-0 victory over Long Beach State in the Big West Conference Tournament final, clinching the Titans their third straight NCAA Tournament berth (11/08).
HIGH SCHOOL A 2015 graduate of Estancia High School…played on the varsity squad for four years as a center back and central midfielder for head coach Jessica Perry…named to the Orange Coast League First Team for four consecutive years including being named the Player of the Year as a senior…was a three-year Orange County “Dream Team” selection including taking home Player of the Year honors in 2015….was named to the CIF Southern Section First Team in 2014 and 2015 while making the second team as a sophomore in 2013…was a two-year captain (2014 & 2015)…also named Team MVP following her senior season.
PERSONAL Born in Santa Ana, Calif…parents are Carlos and Evelyn Barrios…has four siblings: Carlos, Evelyn, Jennifer and Rick…majoring in business…played for LA Galaxy and head coach Jeff Schofield as a defensive and central attacking midfielder…won the Far West Regionals twice and one Surf Cup championship…was invited to play for the Guatemalan national team.
