POCATELLO, Idaho – The Cal State Fullerton women's soccer team remained undefeated with a 4-2 victory at Idaho State on Friday afternoon at Davis Field.

The Titans, now 3-0 and off to their best start since 2008, got the scoring started in the 22^nd minute as Rebecca Wilson netted her third goal of the year unassisted.

"This match was a great challenge for us," Cal State Fullerton head coach Demian Brown said. "Idaho State is a very difficult team to play in its stadium. I thought our players responded well to the pressure, and it was great to see Sarah (Fajnor) get rewarded for her hard work."

Fullerton doubled its lead right before halftime as freshman Alba Barrios scored in the 44^th minute assisted by Brooke Ligtenberg. The goal and assist were the first tallies of the season for the pair of freshmen.

Idaho State (0-3) cut the Titans lead in half, 2-1, after a score from Samantha Rodriquez in the 50^th minute for the Bengals.

Ivy Diego's first goal of the season, assisted by sophomore Sarah Fajnor in the 51^st minute, once again gave Fullerton a two-goal, 3-1 lead, but ISU cut the lead to just 3-2 as Vanessa Cabilan netted her first goal of the year in the 63^rd minute.

Fajnor scored her first career goal in the 75^th minute unassisted to push the final score to 4-2.

Goalkeeper Jennifer Stuart made a season-high nine saves for Fullerton.

The Titans, currently ranked fifth in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America West Regional rankings, return to action at noon on Sunday vs. Utah.
