O'AHU, Hawaii - Cal State Fullerton recorded a 23-over 599 through 36 holes to put the Titans in fourth place Wednesday at the Rainbow Wahine Invitational hosted by Hawai'i at the Leilehua Golf Course in Oahu, Hawaii.

The Titans opened up the day with a 9-over 297 in the opening round and then wrapped up the first day of competition with a 14-over 302 in the second round. The Titans are six strokes behind second-place Boise State and just one stroke back of third-place Nebraska. Vanderbilt holds a commanding lead at the top of the leaderboard after posting a 2-under 574 after 36 holes, the only team to record a score under par on the first day.  

Senior Tisha Alyn Abrea is on pace to record her third consecutive top-five finish of the season as she sits in a tie for fourth place after 36 holes. Abrea posted an even par 72 in the first round followed by a 73 on the last 18 holes of the day to put her at 1-over for the day, six strokes behind leader Kendall Martindale of Vanderbilt.

Sophomore Martina Edberg sits in the top-10 after the first day, locked in a tie for 10th place after recording a 4-over 148 on Wednesday. Edberg sank three birdies on the day, tying for the third most in the 82-player field.

Freshman Brittany Farrell is tied for 21st place after 36 holes, carding a 8-over 152 while senior Makayla Mier is tied for 40th after a 12-over 156 on Wednesday. Junior Dakota Brown wrapped up the Titans team effort with a 13-over 157, placing her in a tie for 49th.

Nadine Rivera, competing as an individual for the Titans, matched teammate Mier's 12-over 156 on Wednesday to also place her in a tie for 40th.

The Titans will return to the links Thursday to conclude the Rainbow Wahine Invitational. A shotgun start is scheduled at 11 a.m. PT.
