Cal State Fullerton sophomore Megan Richardson was named to the All-Big West Conference First Team while teammates Jasmine Scott and Mya Olivier also earned all-league laurels as the Big West announced its all-conference teams on Monday morning.

Richardson, who was named to the league's All-Freshman Team a season ago, earned her first career All-Big West honor, entering this week's conference tournament third in the league in scoring at 15.4 ppg while making a team-high 40 three-pointers, and shooting just under 82 percent from the free throw line.

She has reached double figures 24 times in 30 regular season contests, including eight 20-point outings and a career-high 29 points against San Jose State in the season opener.

Scott earned her first career all-conference honor, gaining honorable mention laurels after averaging 11.3 ppg while joining Richardson as the only two Titans to start all 30 games. Her 5.5 rebounds per game were also second on the squad while she led Cal State Fullerton with three double-doubles on the season - including the fourth triple-double in school history with 11 points, 16 rebounds, and 11 assists against Long Beach State on Feb. 4.

Olivier was named to the league's All-Freshman Team, averaging five points and five rebounds per game while shooting just under 51 percent from the field. After starting the season on the bench, Olivier moved into the starting lineup near the start of the Big West season, averaging 5.8 ppg and 5.3 rpg in conference contests and shooting 53 percent from the field.

She set career high's with 15 points at Sacramento State on Nov. 15 and 14 rebounds at Cal State Bakersfield on Feb. 17 while tallying a pair of double-double's against the Roadrunners and UC Santa Barbara on Jan. 23.

Olivier's inclusion on the All-Freshman Team continues a tradition of sorts for the Cal State Fullerton women's basketball program as the Titans have had a representative on that squad in each of the last three seasons and has had eight players so honored since 2000, joining such standouts as Tamara Quinn (2000-01), Andrea Adams (2002-03), Charlee Underwood (2003-04), Toni Thomas (2005-06), Lauren Chow (2007-08), Ashley Richie (2007-08), and Richardson (2008-09).

Cal State Fullerton (14-16 overall, 8-8 in the Big West) opens play in the 2010 Big West Conference Tournament as the No. 6 seed on Wednesday (March 10) at approximately 2:30 p.m. against No. 7-seeded UC Irvine at the Anaheim Convention Center.
