program to earn all-conference first-team honors in back-to-back
seasons (Eugenia Miller-Rycraw and Claudette Jackson) and joined
Miller-Rycraw and Shayla Bradshaw as the only Fullerton players
honored on the all-conference teams three times in their careers...
one of two players (Alison Bennett) to start all 30 games... led
the league in scoring for the second consecutive season at 17.1
points per game... her 512 points marked the second consecutive
season that she has scored more than 500 points, becoming only the
third Titan to post back-to-back 500-point seasons (Miller-Rycraw
and Jackson)... ranked second in the league in rebounding with 7.9
rebounds per game, third in the league in field goal percentage
(.472), fourth in free throw percentage (.798), eighth in blocks
(0.73 per game), second in offensive rebounds (2.87 per game),
fourth in defensive rebounds (5.00 per game), and tied for third in
minutes per game (31.7)... ranked among NCAA leads in scoring (No.
58), rebounding (No. 109), field goal percentage (No. 99), free
throw percentage (No. 103)... became the 17th Titan to reach 1,000
career points with a career-best 32 points against UTEP on Nov. 23
- only the ninth Fullerton player to accomplish the scoring
milestone in her first three seasons... became only the 10th player
in school history to score at least 1,000 points and grab 500
rebounds... scored in double figures in all but five games,
including 12 games of 20 points or more... tallied six
double-doubles on the season... tallied four consecutive
double-doubles from Feb. 23-March 12, averaging 22.8 points and
11.3 rebounds per games in that stretch... grabbed a season-high 16
rebounds twice against UC Santa Barbara (Jan. 12) and Pacific (Feb.
14) - just one shy of tying her career high... made a season-high
12 baskets (in 20 attempts) at Saint Mary's on Dec. 29 and shot 60
percent or better from the floor eight times... led the team in
scoring 15 times and rebounding 23 times.
SOPHOMORE (2006-07): All-Big West Conference
First-Team selection and All-Big West Tournament Team selection...
became only the 10th Titan to earn all-conference first-team honors
and the first since Dee Braxton in 1996-97... appeared in all 32
games, making 31 starts... led the team in scoring and rebounding
at 17.5 points and 8.3 rebounds per game, respectively... finished
the year ranked No. 48 in the nation in scoring, No. 89 in
rebounding, and No. 79 in free throw percentage... led the team in
14 different categories, including 25 blocks (10th on the school's
single-season list) and 49 steals... averaged 17.9 ppg and 8.6 rpg
in conference play, shooting 44 percent from the field and 82
percent from the floor... became the first Titan to score 500
points in a single-season since Koko Lahanas led the nation in
scoring with 778 points (26.8 ppg) in 1994-95... became the first
Titan to lead the Big West Conference in scoring since Lahanas in
1994-95, and only the fourth Fullerton player ever (Claudette
Jackson in 1992 and Genia Miller in 1991)... Thomas' 561 points
ranks eighth on the school's single season scoring list... averaged
just over 33 minutes per game, shooting .454 from the field and
.819 from the free throw line... finished fourth in the league in
rebounding and field goal percentage, second in free throw
percentage, seventh in blocks, sixth in offensive rebounds, fourth
in defensive rebounds, and eighth in minutes played... scored in
double figures in every game but one... led the team in scoring 16
times and in rebounding 23 times... tallied eight double-doubles on
the year, including three straight from Feb. 8-15 against Cal State
Northridge, UC Irvine, and Long Beach State... scored 20 points or
more 12 times, including four straight games from Feb. 22-March
7... scored a career-high 29 points in a win over UC Irvine
(1/20)... grabbed a season-high 14 rebounds at Pacific (1/6).
FRESHMAN (2005-06): Became only the third Titan
to be named Big West Conference Freshman of the Year, joining
Eugenia Miller-Rycraw (1987-88) and Kisa Hughes (1991-92)... also
named to the All-Big West Second Team... appeared in 28 games,
making 25 starts... ranked second on the team (7th in the Big West)
in scoring at 12.6 points per game while also leading the team (and
ranking 5th in the Big West) with 7.0 rebounds per game...
performed even better in conference competition, averaging 13.7 ppg
and 7.7 rpg in 14 games... led the team in points scored with
353... shot a team-high .487 from the floor (4th in the Big West)
and .790 from the free throw line (2nd in the Big West)... ranked
tied for second on the team with 19 double-digit scoring
performances - including seven straight games from Jan. 9 to Feb.
7, averaging 16.9 ppg and and 7.4 rpg while shooting .512 in that
stretch... led the team in scoring seven times... tallied four
20-point performances, including a career-high 27 points in a home
win over Utah Valley State (Jan. 26)... netted 24 points in the Big
West Tournament first-round against Cal State Northridge (March 9)
to go with seven rebounds... also had 23 points at Cal State
Northridge (Feb. 18) and 22 points at Cal Poly (Jan. 2)... notched
seven double-doubles on the season... grabbed a career-high 17
rebounds at Pacific (Feb. 16)... led the team in rebounds 11 times
on the year... amassed 103 offensive rebounds on the year to lead
the Big West... led all conference freshmen in rebounding, free
throw percentage, and offensive rebounds while ranking second in
scoring and field goal percentage... opened her collegiate career
with three straight double-digit performances - including 19 points
at Northern Colorado - and averaging 13.7 ppg in that stretch...
was held scoreless only once (vs. San Diego, Dec. 1)... scored in
double figures in each of her last six games (17.5 ppg) and 13 of
her last 15 (15.9 ppg).
