Memphis, TN -

Michael Farfan again scored a late goal and Cal State Fullerton again logged a 3-2 men's soccer victory, this time over Oral Roberts at the Diadora Tournament Friday evening in Memphis, Tennessee, before a Memphis record soccer crowd of 923.

Farfan broke a 2-2 tie with just over 10 minutes to play with assists from Marco Rodriguez and Skyler Thuresson to match the results of Sunday's season-opening 3-2 win at San Jose State when Farfan scored on a penalty kick in overtime.

At San Jose the Titans played catch-up, a role which fell to Oral Roberts (0-2-1) Friday. David Garcia gave Fullerton a 1-0 lead with a goal in the final two minutes of the first half. But Juan Chang tied it for ORU less than 7 minutes into the second half.

Amir Shafii scored his second goal of the young season off a corner kick for a 2-1 Fullerton lead with about 22 minutes to play but the Golden Eagles got even in less than a minute at Carlos Pinto scored.

Brent Douglas logged his second win in as many tries in goal, logging 8 saves as ORU outshot the titans, 25-12. Fullerton plays the host Tigers (2-1) Sunday evening. Memphis lost its first game of the year, 2-0, to Clemson, later Friday night.
