starter... Goals came at UC Irvine (Nov. 2) and at Cal Poly SLO
(Nov. 9)... His assists came vs. UC Davis (Oct. 22), twice at UC
Irvine (Nov. 2) and at Cal Poly (Nov. 9)... Also played in 15
matches as a freshman in 2004, 9 as a starter... Had 2 assists --

Parents are Gerek and Judy Thuresson of Long Beach... Has a younger
brother, Jaiden (18) and two sisters, Nicole (24) and Kirsten
(16)... Played club soccer for the Wolfpack and CRSC Brigade (U-15
Gold), for whom he scored on a bicycle kick from just outside the
18-yard box against the first-place team... Business administration
major whose goal is to play professional soccer and own a sports
store... Credits Mark Rodriguez for taking him under his wing when
Skyler was about 14, giving him self-confidence and showing him how
to play with passion and skill.
