part of the Titan soccer program... Earned first-team All-Big West
Conference honors and was selected Freshman of the Year by the
rival coaches... Earned freshman All-American honors from Soccer
America (1st team), College Soccer News (2nd team) and Top Drawer
Soccer (all-rookie 2nd team) plus second-team All-Far West by
NSCAA... Second on team in scoring with 14 points on 5 goals and 4
assists... Scores came at San Jose State on Aug. 27 (2, GW), Sept.
1 vs. Oral Roberts (GW), Sept. 27 vs. UC Irvine and Nov. 1 at UC
Riverside.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Edison Academic Center in
Bradenton, Florida, while training with the U.S. team... Parade
magazine high school All-American... Won All-CIF honors at Castle
Park High School in Chula Vista as an underclassman.
PERSONAL: Born on June 23, 1988, in San
Diego... Parents are Luis and Kathy Farfan of Wildomar,
California... Has an older sister, Kathy (21), and a younger
brother, Louie (13), as well as twin brother Gabriel, with whom he
enrolled in Spring, 2006, after a two-year residency with the
United States Under-17 team. ... Played in the 2000 World Youth
Championships in Japan... 2004 Olympic Development Program national
champions... ODP state finalist in 2005... Played club soccer for
the La Jolla Nomads... Goal is to play professional soccer...
Enjoys traveling and loves sleeping... Credits his father for the
most influence on his soccer career: "Because he has taught me
