Irvine, Calif. -

Junior point guard Bobby Brown today earned first-team All-Big West Conference honors and senior forward Jamaal Brown earned second-team honors.

Joining Bobby on the first team were player of the year Christian Maraker of Pacific, Aaron Fitzgerald of UC Irvine, Jibril Hodges of Long Beach State, Johnny Gray of Pacific and Derek Stockalper of Cal Poly. Joining Jamaal on the second team were Cecil Brown and Chris Devine of UCSB, Shawn Hawkins and Kejuan Johnson of Long Beach State, Rickey Porter of UC Riverside and Dawin Whiten of Cal Poly.

Trae Clark of Cal Poly was freshman of the year and Bob Thomason of Pacific is coach of the year.

The women's team will be announced at 10:35 a.m.
