FULLERTON, Calif. – After back-to-back wins over UCI, the Titans stay home for a three-game series against UC Davis beginning Friday night at Goodwin Field.
The Titans head into the series with a 18-22 record with a 5-7 record in Big West play. The Aggies are 15-23 overall with a 6-9 conference record and are coming off of a series sweep over Long Beach State.
Fullerton has dominated the Aggies since beginning yearly series against them in 2005. The Titans are 38-4 in 42 games played with a 18-3 record at Goodwin Field. Fullerton has an 11 game win streak going back to 2015.
Mitchell Berryhill hasn't cooled off at all, as he continues to lead the nation with a .444 batting average. Berryhill would be the first Titan to win the national batting title if he can stay atop of the rankings. Additionally, if Berryhill can keep his batting average above .400 he would set the record for highest average in a single season in the history of the program.
Due to scheduling conflicts, the rescheduled game vs. Washington on Monday, May 7 has been CANCELLED. Individual ticket holders will be contacted by the Athletics Ticket Office and issued an exchange for another game this season or a refund.
