Titans Lose Rubber Game to UC Davis

FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton (19-24, 6-9) dropped the final game of the series to UC Davis (16-24, 8-10) by a score of 3-2 Sunday afternoon at Goodwin Field.

Isaiah Garcia had an impressive game for the Titans going 3-for-5 on the day. Garcia had a strong weekend against UC Davis as he went 5-for-11 at the plate with five RBI. Zach Lew went 2-for-2 Sunday afternoon with one RBI.

Dillon Brown started the game on the mound and went four innings, giving up just four hits and just one earned run. Kyle Luckham finished the final five innings allowing five hits and two earned runs.

Steve Ouellette got the win for UC Davis to move to 1-3 on the season. Ouellette pitched two innings, allowing two hits.

Fullerton returns to action Tuesday as Grand Canyon comes to Goodwin Field for a makeup game of the Arizona State cancellation. First pitch Tuesday is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. PT.
