Named Big West Women's Track Athlete of the Year ... Opened up the year by breaking her own school record in the mile with a time of 4:46.77 at the Ben Brown Invitational to take first place ... Won the 800 meters at the Baldy Castillo Invitational with time of 2:08.24 and took second in the 1,500 meters (4:25.03) ... Won the Titan Team Challenge 800 meters (2:04.33) ... Took first place in both events at the Big West Challenge with respective times of 2:09.80 and 4:25.83 ... Broke her own school record in the 1,500 meters at the Bryan Clay Invitational with a time of 4:18.39 ... Became the first Titan to ever win Big West titles in both the 800 meters and 1,500 meters in the same meet as she clocked times of 2:04.81 and 4:30.66 to secure both ... Led the women's team to the first conference championship in program history ... Qualified for the NCAA West Preliminaries and broke her own school record in the 800 meters at 2:03.96 to punch her ticket to the NCAA Championships ... INDOOR TRACK & FIELD JUNIOR (2019)
Took 11th place in the mile with a personal-best time of 4:47.50 at the MPSF Championships ... Also ran on the distance medley relay team that clocked a school-record time of 11:41.06.

CROSS COUNTRY JUNIOR (2018)
Competed in four events for the Titans during the season…Second Titan finisher and 15th overall at the Roy Griak Invitational with a 6K time of 21:51.1…Finished first among the Titans at third overall at the UCR Highlander Invitational with a 5,000 meter time of 17:03.40…Posted a 6K time of 21:26.5 which placed her first among CSF runners and second overall at the Big West Championships…Finished off the year placing first (27th overall) at the NCAA West Regional with a 6K time of 20:23.4.

OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD SOPHOMORE (2018)
Set three school records and won the Big West Championship in the 800-meter race during an outstanding sophomore campaign ... Became the first Titan in program history to win the Big West title in the 800 meters with a time of 2:07.63. Also scored in the 1,500-meter race with a third-place finish at 4:31.18 ... Posted school-record times of 2:07.36 in the 800 meters (Big West Challenge), 4:25.16 in the 1,500 meters (Bryan Clay Invitational) and 4:48.02 (Trojan Invitational) in the mile.

INDOOR TRACK & FIELD SOPHOMORE (2018)
In her lone race of the season, clocked a school-record time of 4:54.55 in the mile at the UW Invitational.

CROSS COUNTRY SOPHOMORE (2017)
Huerta led the way at the Big West Championships in 4th place with a 6K time of 20:41.5, which is the best finish for a Titan since 1994. Huerta is tied for the second-best individual finish in program history at the conference championships with Heather Killeen in 1994 and Kristen Peters in 1991 ... Led the way to a third-place team finish at the conference championships, the team's best finish since 1992 ... Placed 57th at the NCAA West Regional with a 6K time of 20:55.6 to lead the way for CSF. Huerta's 57th-place finish is the best finish by a Titan at the NCAA West Regional since Carolyn Ellis took 46th place in 2009 ... Finished first or second among CSF runners in six of seven races on the year.

OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD FRESHMAN (2017)
Ran the mile at the Ben Brown Invite in 4:57.20 to open the season ... Doubled in the 800m (2:16.80) and 1,500m (personal-best time of 4:33.55) at the Trojan Invitational ... Clocked a personal best in the 800 meters at the UCLA Legends Invite with a time of 2:11.80 ... Clocked a time of 4:36.08 at the Michael Johnson Invitational.

INDOOR TRACK & FIELD FRESHMAN (2017)
Began the season at the Husky Classic by running the mile in 5:01.67 ... Ran a leg on the DMR that clocked a time of 12:13.32 and ran the mile in 5:02.64.

CROSS COUNTRY FRESHMAN (2016)
Competed in six meets for the Titans ... Made her collegiate debut in the 5K at the Mark Covert Classic where she took third place with a time of 18:12.9 ... Also took third place at the USD Invite where she clocked a 6K time of 22:28 ... Earned a 10th-place finish at the Highlander Invitational with a 5K time of 17:46.31 ... Finished in 24th place at the Big West Championships, clocking a 6K time of 22:58.3 ... Ran at the NCAA West Regional and posted a 6K time of 21:33.6 that was good for 93rd place.

HIGH SCHOOL 
Ran three years on the cross country team at La Mirada HS in La Mirada, Calif...the Matadores went undefeated in Surburban League in all three seasons while collecting the title each year...improved personal records in 1600m & 800m by 22 seconds from sophomore year to senior year (1600m: 5:11 to 4:49) and (800m: 2:34 to 2:12)...was also an exceptional student in the classroom as she earned World History honors, Language Arts honors, Pre-Calc honors and AP Environmental Science credit...graduated with high honors. 

PERSONAL
Middle name is Lynn...was born on Junly 10, 1997...parents are David Huerta and Tammi Benson...has two older brothers (Anthony and Mathew)...participated in numerous charity work as she took part in the Relay For Life in 2013 and Local Food Drive the past two years...enjoys watching movies & TV...chose Cal St. Fullerton because she loved being close to home and the program overall.
