CAL STATE FULLERTON
UNDERGRAD ASSISTANT (2017): Named an Undergraduate Assistant by coach Kelly Ford this past summer. Taukeiaho is a kinesiology major and will finish her degree later this spring. She also plans to go into coaching after she graduates.
SENIOR (2016): Named 2016 Big West Player of the Year…Selected to the All-Big West First Team…Garnered NFCA All-Third Team honors…Named to the USA Softball Top 50 Watch List...Played in all 61 games this year…Ended the season with a batting average of .360...Lead the team in runs scored (52), doubles (22), total bases (116), slugging percentage (.674), walks (43), on-base percentage (.498) and home runs (10)...Second on the team in hits (62) and RBIs (41)…Tied for first on the squad with 13 multi-RBI games...Put together the second longest reached based streak (20)...Third on the team with 15 multi-hit games and her 10-game hitting streak also ranked her third on the squad...Competed the season going 8-for-9 on the base paths.
JUNIOR (2015): Selected to the NFCA All-American Third-Team while landing on the All-West Region First-Team for the second consecutive year and added a nod on the All-Big West First-Team…recognized on the USA Softball Top 50 Watch List…appeared in 46 games for the Titans, making 46 starts…batted .390 with a team-high slugging percentage of .728, with 12 homeruns, 53 hits, 41 RBIs, ten doubles, 32 runs, and a team-high 27 walks…logged a .957 fielding percentage with 106 assists, 50 putouts, five double plays, and seven errors…Had 10 multi-RBI performances and 21 multi-hit games and a pair of two-homer games…blasted the game-winning homer against UC Riverside on April 11 in the 12th inning to lead the Titans to a 3-2 triumph over the Highlanders.
SOPHOMORE (2014): Voted and selected to the NFCA All-American Third Team and the All-West Region First Team by NFCA member coaches from each respective region, Taukeiaho became the 29th Titan to be named to an NFCA All-American Team and the first since Kiki Munoz earned second team honors in 2008…single handedly rewrote both the program and conference record books in four separate categories en route to being the first Titan to earn Big West Player of the Year honors since Ashley Van Boxmeer in 2006…batting from the leadoff position in all 55 games in 2013-14, scored 62 times, inking her into the books for most in a single-season…blasted 19 home runs, notching her into the No. 2 spot on the single-season charts… finished No. 6 in RBIs (51) and No. 9 in batting average with a .429 clip, pacing the Titans to their first .300 team average since the 2000 campaign…manufactured 21 multi-hit contests and 12 multi-RBI games…captured three Player of the Week accolades over the season (weeks of Apr. 14-21, Mar. 24-31 and Feb. 3-10), good for third most all-time in Big West Conference history…led the league in home runs, runs scored, RBIs, walks (40), on-base percentage (.547) and slugging percentage (.851)…in conference play, Taukeiaho launched eight of her 19 long balls…complimented by a .508 average in league play, propelling the Titans to victories in seven of their last eight games…swiped eight bags with a perfect (8-for-8) succession rate…headlined the Titans offense in 11 categories, leading the squad in at-bats (168), runs, hits (72), doubles (14), home runs, RBIs, walks (40), stolen bases, batting average, on-base percentage., slugging percentage…posted a team-high 10-game hitting streak between Mar. 26-Apr. 12 (.543, 19-for-35, four home runs, 14 RBIs, 15 runs scored, six doubles, seven walks)…clubbed her first career home run (2-for-3, two RBIs, one run scored) as a Titan in a win over then No. 2 Oklahoma, 3-1, marking the first program win over a second-ranked opponent since 2008…chipped in a career-high four hit (4-for-4) performance against San Jose State on March 6…only Titan to drive in five runs or more twice in the season, both against Big West foes UC Santa Barbara on March 29 (3-for-3, home run, one double, two runs scored) and at Cal State Northridge on May 9 (3-for-4, home run, three runs scored)…launched her first career grand slam against UCSB on March 30 (2-for-2, four RBIs, two runs scored, two walks), striking for one of three combined grand slams between the two teams in an 11-7 come from behind victory for Fullerton after overcoming a 6-1 deficit…reached base in 28 consecutive games over two full months between (Mar. 9-May 9).
UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON
Played her freshman season for the University of Washington… appeared in 42 games, starting 35 games primarily in the outfield… hit .296 with six home runs, 20 RBI’s, and 27 runs scored… helped the Huskies reach the Women’s College World Series.

Attended Etiwanda HS was a 2009 First-Team All-Baseline League selection ... MVP of her league in 2010, 2011 and 2012 ... 2009 academic honors ... highest batting average in 2009 ... second-team all CIF in 2009 ... team MVP from 2010-2012 ... 2012 hitting award ... 2012 scholar-athlete award ... 2011 hitting award ... 2012 hitting award ... a First-Team ESPNRISE All-American in 2011 and named the Junior Player of the Year in Calif. ... she also earned the Daily Bulletin's Player of the Year in 2011, the Sluggers Award from 2009-2011.
PERSONAL
Parents are Angela Vargas and Williams Taukeiaho...has two sisters, Jessica and Vanessa Taukeiaho...lists hometown as Rancho Cucamonga, Calif....she has several family connections to the Pac-12 as she has had relatives play football at Arizona State and Oregon State…majoring in physical therapy…nickname is Missy...aspires to become a doctor and specialize in sports medicine…played for the Worth Firecrackers 18U Gold in Southern California...favorites include: Bugsy (Pug), Bear (Chocolate Labrador), watch movies, shop, hang out with friends, listen to music (hobbies), Santa Cruz Boardwalk (place already visited), Fiji (would like to visit), hot & spicy cheez-its (snack), San Francisco 49ers (athletic team), David Ortiz (athlete), horror, comedies, drama, action (movies)...I chose Fullerton because: I felt comfortable with the girls, coaching staff and the campus...If I didn’t play softball, I would play: I would have played soccer or would have danced.
