SOPHOMORE (2014): All-Big West Conference Second Team selection, batted at a .329 clip, scored 24 runs, clubbed five home runs, team second-best 54 hits and produced 29 RBIs...concluded season on a team-high eight game hitting streak...manufactured a team second-best 15 multi-hit games and five multi-RBI games...turned in a multi-hit game in five out of the last ten games to end the year...it took just one swing of the bat to smash her first career grand slam (1-for-4, four RBIs, one run scored) versus Big West foe UC Santa Barbara on March 30, breaking a 7-7 tie for an 11-7 come from behind victory following a 6-1 deficit...also turned in her only three-hit game versus Canisius on Mar. 17, scoring a pair of runs...piled on the off-the-field accolades being named on the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team, garnering 2013 CSF Big West Scholar Athlete of the Year and being a recipient of the 2013 Big West Sportsmanship Award.
FRESHMAN (2013): Appeared in 52 games, making 32 starts at shortstop for the Titans during the 2012-13 season...hit .211 (8-38) while recording four runs scored and four RBI's...made her Fullerton debut in the first game of the season versus Southern Miss (February 7) managing a hit and scoring a run in a 3-1 loss...had hits in eight different games this season...logged a .944 fielding percentage and 59 putouts.

Prepped at Valley View HS in Moreno Valley...four-time All-Inland Valley League First-Team selection...Inland Valley League MVP and All-CIF choice as a junior and senior...All-Area second team honoree as a junior and a first-team selection as a senior...helped the Eagles to a pair of league titles in her final two seasons...made four trips to the CIF playoffs, gaining the second round twice (freshman, sophomore), the third round once (junior), and the semfinals as a senior...hit a team-high .575 as a junior to go with 23 runs, 13 RBI, and a .584 on base percentage...added three doubles, four triples, and a 15 stolen bases...led the team with a .611 average as a senior on 55 hits, scoring 43 runs, smacking six doubles, five triples, and stealing 24 bases.

Parents are Daniel and Lisa...has three brothers (Danny, Kevin, and Ryan) and a sister (Kelli)... nicknames include: Sam, Sammy G, InstagramSam, Tarzan...intends to major in communications...also considered Texas and San Diego State...her grandfather, Osvaldo, played professional soccer in Argentina and Colombia in the 1950's and 1960's...graduated summa cum laude from Valley View HS...President's Scholar at Cal State Fullerton and received a Dean's Scholarship from the College of Communications...helped her OC Batbusters 16U squad to an ASA national title and an ESPN Rise Premier tournament championship in 2010...favorites include: orange (color), dogs, chickens, and bunnies (pets), "Hakuna Matata," (quote), sungazing, going to the beach (hobbies), Hawaii (place already visited), Argentina (would like to visit), The Arboretum (place to take visitors in Fullerton), macaroni and cheese with vegan cheese (food), cereal (snack), water (drink), Cool Runnings (movie), The Bible (book), greatest accomplishment: living, some people exist, and others live.
