Fullerton, Calif. - Kanani Danielson blasted a match-high 20 kills and hit .326 to lift the third-ranked Hawaii Rainbow Wahine to a 3-1 volleyball victory over Cal State Fullerton Friday night in front of a record 1,026 fans in Titan Gym.

The Titans conclude their 2011 season with the loss to the Rainbow Wahine and fall to 13-16 overall. Fullerton remains winless in 27 match-ups with Hawaii. The `Bows win their 24th consecutive match of the year and improve to a stellar 29-1 heading into the postseason.

Fullerton which was being televised from Titan Gym for the first time on ESPN3, came out firing on all cylinders, hitting .395 as a team behind five kills each by Kayla Neto and Jennifer Edmond to take the first set, 25-14. They had also held the `Bows to just a .150 mark in that first set, but the visitors never hit lower than .306 in any remaining set to close out the match, 25-16, 25-17, 25-9.

Neto had 12 kills, 6 digs and three blocks to lead the Titans in overall points. Senior Edmond finished with 10 kills in support of Neto in her final match in a Titan uniform. Senior Leah Maurer had nine kills without an error, hit .360 and had a match-high four blocks in her final Titan performance.

Senior setter Andrea Ragan had 40 assists and 15 digs for the double-double in her last action as a Titan. She finishes her career with school records in total assists (4,377) and assists per set (11.05).

Danielson (20 kills, 14 digs) and Jane Croson (13 kills, 14 digs) each had double-doubles for the Western athletic Conference champions. Shanteal Satele had 10 kills and hit .444. Emily Maeda had a match-high 19 digs.

This meeting between the two programs will continue next season as the Rainbow Wahine are set to re-join the Big West Conference in July of 2012. The two programs will meet twice a year in conference play.
