FULLERTON, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton came out with a four-set victory (25-22, 25-18, 20-25, 23-25) against UC Irvine on Saturday night. With the win, the Titans (11-9, 3-6 BWC) complete the season sweep of the Anteaters (4-17, 1-8 BWC) for the first time since 2012.
Julia Crawford finished the night with her ninth double-double of the season recording 12 kills and 13 digs. Tyler Fezzey reached double-figures with 10 kills while Haley Carmo and Felicia Marshall were right behind with nine kills each. Savahna Costello had another great defensive match with a match-high 25 digs.
Fullerton started the match on top taking an early lead in the first set and hanging on for a 25-22 win.

The second set was all Titans as they pulled away early thanks to a blazing .324 hit percentage. They came out two sets up with a 25-18 victory.
Irvine and Fullerton battled back and forth the entirety of the third set, but the Anteaters made a late run to take control and avoid the sweep with a 25-20 win.
The Titans jumped out to dominant, early lead but the Anteaters would battle back as the fourth set turned into a dog fight. Going back-and-forth all the way until the end, Fullerton would edge out UCI with a 25-23 victory.

Cal State Fullerton picks up its third conference victory of the season, their most in a single-season since 2013 when the team won four.
The Titans are back in action next weekend with a pair of matches hosting CSUN on Friday and Long Beach State on Saturday. Both matches are scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
