Volleyball Set to Face No. 11 Hawaii

FULLERTON, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton (8-6, 0-3 Big West) is set to travel to Hawaii for a match against the No. 11 ranked Rainbow Wahine. First serve is scheduled for 10:00 p.m. PT on Saturday at the Stan Sheriff Center.

The Titans are coming off a rough week, starting conference play 0-3 with losses to UC Riverside, Cal Poly, and UC Santa Barbara.

Fullerton continues to be led by Julia Crawford on the offensive side of the ball with Savahna Costello leading the defensive side. Crawford currently leads the team with 205.5 points on the season and ranks 15th in the nation averaging 12.23 attacks per set. Costello's defensive prowess has landed her in the top 10, ranking sixth with 5.67 digs per set.

As a team, the Titans rank seventh in the nation averaging 18.09 digs per set.

Hawaii currently sits at No. 11 in the AVCA polls posting a 12-1 record so far. The Rainbow Wahine cruised to a 2-0 record to start Big West play with a pair of four set victories over Long Beach State and CSUN last week. Freshman Hannah Helvig has been the leader of the UH offense thus far totaling 158 kills and also ranks second on the team with 48 blocks.

In the all-time records, Hawaii has had Fullerton's number winning all 41 matches.
