San Diego, Calif. - Ruya Inalpulat and Gina Le today advanced to the second round of the Wilson / ITA West Region Women's Championships hosted by San Diego State and University of San Diego. They defeated the UC SantaBarbara team of Wilson-Mutzke by an 8-3 score and will next face Poladian-Dunlap of Cal State Northridge.

In other matches, Shelly Injejkian and Jessica Winkler lost their first-round match, 8-4, to Hawai'i's team of Aikawa-Cappella and the Fullerton team of Mai-Ly Tran and Cheyenne Inglis lost to Williams-Bihag, also of Hawai'i.
