FULLERTON, CA - The Cal State Fullerton women's tennis team won its second consecutive match, posting a 6-1 victory over Illinois-Chicago this afternoon at the Titan Tennis Courts.
The win moved Fullerton to 5-12 overall on the season as the Titans clinched victories in seven of the nine matches on the day.
Cal State Fullerton clinched the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles by identical 8-2 scores. The Titans then took five of six matches in singles play - including four wins via straight sets - to clinch the match.
The Titans return to action on March 22 at 2 p.m. as they host Boise State.
