Fullerton, Calif. - The No. 62 ranked UC Irvine women's tennis team (6-4, 4-1) defeated Cal State Fullerton (1-6, 0-3) 6-1 Tuesday afternoon in Big West Conference play.

The Anteaters won all three doubles matches to take a 1-0 lead. Stephanie Hammel retired in the first set of No 1 singles, giving Tiffany Mai the win for Fullerton's lone point.
