IRVINE, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton senior Sarah Nuno captured her third career Big West Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week award with continued impressive play in singles and doubles.

• Nuno ranks second all-time in school history with her three career citations, trailing only Alexis Valenzuela's five.

• Nuno rolled to a 4-0 record with two wins each in singles and doubles. She defeated Cal Poly's Susanne Boyden in straight sets, 7-5, 6-2, as the Titans swept the Mustangs 4-0.

• She was responsible for one of the two points CSF accumulated in its 5-2 loss to UC Santa Barbara with first place on the line. Nuno toppled Elizaveta Volodko at No. 2 singles in a tight three-set battle, winning 6-4, 3-6, 6-3. Nuno has not lost in singles or doubles in each of the last three league matches.

• Nuno and teammate Karla Portalatin also breezed to wins at No. 1 doubles against both league opponents.
