FULLERTON, Calif- The Titans are going to face nationally ranked USC this Tuesday April 2nd at 1:00pm P.T. at the Marks Tennis Stadium on USC campus.
TITANS
The Titans will face USC (#14) this Tuesday as their last non-conference dual of the regular season.
After this dual, the Titans will have three conference matches on the road before hosting UC Riverside for their final regular season dual.
Cal State Fullerton (11-3) is on a three-match winning streak after topping Drake at home and picking up two wins on the road at Portland and Seattle.
The Titans hold a 3-2 record while playing away before facing USC on their home courts.
OPPONENT
USC (13-3) is ranked No.14 in the ITA National Rankings.
The Trojans were on nine consecutive wins before losing to Stanford in a close match-up last weekend.
USC is third in the PAC-12 conference with four wins and a loss right behind Washington and Stanford with both a perfect 5-0 conference record.
The team has three players ranked nationally in singles play: Salma Ewing (#49), Angela Kulikov (#75) and Danielle Willson (#124).
In doubles, the duo of Angela Kulikov and Rianna Valdes is ranked #20 in the nation.
HISTORY
The Titans suffer a 0-7 all-time record when facing USC.
The first match dates back to 1981 with USC taking the win 8-1.
The last match was in 1985 which means it will be the first match of the Titans against USC under Coach Dianne Matias.
