NEWS AND NOTES
EVERYONE LOVES A WALKOFF
Last year's Titans had a lot of late game magic as they had 11 walk-off victories including 4 walk-off home runs last season. That has continued in 2019 as they have recorded 6 walk-off victories thus far, two of which were run-rule walk-offs.

BOMB SQUAD
The Titans' have lacked power in recent years, but that is not the case this season. In 60 games last year, they hit just 19 home runs. They have already passed that mark with 23 home runs through 25 games. They're 0.96 homers per game ranks 42nd in the country while the 22 total is ranked 26th in the NCAA.

KEEPING BATS COLD
The Titan pitching staff has done a great job at keeping their opponents' hits to a minimum. Through the first 5 weeks, they are allowing a .229 clip to opposing hitters. Titan pitchers have been dominant as of late only allowing 2 runs (1 earned) in their last 28 innings of work.

DEFENSE WINS BALLGAMES
Fullerton has prided themselves on solid defense over the last several years. This season they have only made 15 errors in 25 games, good for a .977 fielding percentage. That mark ranks 12th in the NCAA.

#TAYLORSTRONG
Sophomore Taylor Dockins is back on the field for her second season. After missing over a month of the 2018 campaign due to her battle against cancer, she returned in the Regional final striking out the PAC-12 Freshman of the Year. After being away from the game for several months throughout the offseason, she is back and ready for the 2019 season.

She has made 10 appearances in the circle so far this season. She is coming off her first complete game shutout against Weber State and has only allowed 1 run in her last 13 innings of work.

ALL-TIME RECORD HOLDER
Senior Ari Williams made history last season becoming the all-time stolen base leader and becoming the only Titan to ever steal 20+ bases in three seasons. She will be adding to said record all season long and currently sits at 78 steals for her career. She is a perfect 7-7 to start the 2019 season.

DO YOUR JOB
A leadoff hitter's main job is to get on base and set the tone for the rest of the lineup. Alexa Neil has been doing just that currently hitting .348 this season with a .419 on-base percentage.
