Irvine, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton women's soccer extended its unbeaten streak to 10 (eight wins, two draws) on Friday night when the Titans drew 0-0 at UC Irvine. It is the second straight match redshirt freshman goalkeeper Noa Schumacher and the Titans have recorded a clean sheet and now allowed any goals. Through four Big West Conference matchups, the head coach Demian Brown and his squad have allowed just one goal.
The Titans (10-2-2, 3-0-1 Big West) took nine shots, two of which were on target. They also won five corner kicks, a few corners less than the season average of 7.60 heading into the match, one of the best marks in the nation thus far. For UC Irvine (3-10-1, 2-0-1, they took 10 shots with four on target while earning six corner kicks.
Senior midfielders Atlanta Primus and Alba Barrios each had one shot that was on target.
Fullerton returns to Titan Stadium on Sunday at 5 p.m. PT to host Hawai'i, currently the No. 2 team in the Big West with a record of 3-0-0 in league play.
PARKING
CSUF requires a parking permit for all weekday games. Beginning July 1st, parking on campus will be $10 for an All-Day permit Monday through Thursday 7:00 am to 10:00 pm Friday until 5pm. After 5pm on Friday, Permits are not required, as well as on the weekend. Park and Pay stalls Monday through Thursday 7:00 am to 10:00 pm (Friday until 5pm) are $4 for 1-hour, $8 for 2-hours. Permits can be purchased in parking lots at the permit machines and accept only major credit cards.
