CAREER ACCOLADES
2015 Fall Big West Academic All-Conference Team
SOPHOMORE (2015)
Appeared in 21 matches and made 15 starts for Fullerton at forward and on the wing…scored two goals and was fourth on the team delivering five assists…evaded a defender at the endline and delivered a cross to the back post that found Christina Burkenroad in the 85th minute for the game winner as the Titans opened the season with a 1-0 victory over Liberty (08/21)…assisted on Ivy Diego’s game winner in a 4-2 win at Idaho State, before scoring the insurance goal against the Bengals in the 75th minute (08/28)…cross set up Fullerton’s opening goal in a 4-3 double overtime win over FGCU (09/04)…shot to the low far post scored CSF’s fifth goal in a 6-3 win over San Diego (09/27)…assisted on Fullerton’s final goal in a 4-0 shutout of Hawai’i (10/11)…corner kick set up Rebecca Wilson’s goal in a 3-3 tie at USC in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. USC advanced on PKs (11/13).
FRESHMAN (2014)
Played in all 22 matches and made six starts as a dynamic offensive substitution on the front line…helped Cal State Fullerton as the Titans won the 2014 Big West Conference regular season and tournament championships while making an appearance in the NCAA Tournament…also played a role as Fullerton set a program record with an eight-match unbeaten streak (6-0-2) in Big West Conference action…helped the Titans finish the regular season on a 10-match unbeaten streak and a seven match-winning streak.
HIGH SCHOOL
A 2014 graduate of Sunny Hills High School in Fullerton, Calif…a four-year varsity letterwinner for Jeff Gordon playing at forward and in the midfield…a four-year starter for the Lancers, led her squad to four consecutive Freeway League championships…advanced to the CIF Finals on two occasions (2012, 2013) and the to the CIF quarterfinals on two occasions (2011, 2014)…during her career totaled 59 goals and 24 assists…a three-time All-CIF selection earning first team honors as a senior, second team accolades following her junior year and third team honors as sophomore…a three-time Freeway League honoree, taking MVP honors as a junior after scoring 21 goals and adding five assists…in addition was named to the Freeway League first team in 2014 (20 goals, 9 assists) and the second team in 2012 (15 goals, 4 assists)…a first team all-county pick in 2014 and a third team all-county selection in 2013…three-time Coaches Award recipient (2011, 2012, 2014) and twice voted by her teammates as the Attacking Player of the Year (2013, 2014)…also served as a two-year team captain (2013, 2014)…additional accolades following her senior year include Team MVP, Most Inspirational, Sunny Hills Female Athlete of the Year, Freeway League Female Athlete of the Year…was a four-year scholar athlete and earned principal high honors for four straight years…made the Rotary Top 100 in 2011 and earned Lancer Awards for Biology (2011), Physics (2013) and Student of the Month (2012)…also played varsity softball in 2011 and 2012 and competed in track and field in 2013 and 2014…named Outstanding Sprinter in 2013 and was a two-time CIF 4x400 relay qualifier.
PERSONAL
Born in Fullerton, Calif... parents are Craig and Debbie Fajnor…has two sisters, Shelby and Stacy...major is undeclared…played for Strikers FC and head coach Alex Camargo for three years and played club soccer for a total of nine years…in 2013 was an Elite Club National League Player Development Program Southern California roster selection…also was part of the Olympic Development Pool for two years under the direction of head coach Michelle Myers…won a national championship in March of 2012 (Frisco, Texas) which followed a Region IV championship in January of 2012 (Phoenix, Ariz.)…additional accolades include 2013-14 Homecoming Queen, 2014 AVID Senior Standout and the Senior of the Year as voted by her classmates…was a Girl Scout from 2001-2012 earning the bronze and silver awards.
