SENIOR (2013) Appeared in 21 matches making 18 starts as Fullerton won
its fourth Big West Tournament title and advanced to the NCAA
Tournament for the fifth time in program history…completed
the season with two goals and two assists…set up both goals
in Fullerton’s 2-0 shutout win over Montana at Titan Stadium
(09/01)…scored the game-winning goal in the 74th
minute as Fullerton defeated Gonzaga, 2-1, on Sept. 29 at Titan
Stadium. Colleen Ortega started the sequence, pushing in on the
right side of the box before chipping off to Erica Mazeau near the
endline. Mazeau then skidded a low ball that found its way through
the goalkeeper's legs to a charging West at the left post, who
slammed it home (09/29)…also scored Fullerton’s lone
goal in a 1-1 tie at Long Beach State on Oct. 31, heading in Lauren
Mellano’s cross in the 33rd minute
(10/31)…during the Big West Tournament, converted the final
penalty kick as Fullerton advanced past Cal Poly, 4-3, on PKs in
the semifinals (11/07)…also converted the final penalty kick
as Fullerton clinched the Big West Tournament championship and NCAA
Tournament bid on a 2-1 PK advantage over UC Riverside (11/10).
JUNIOR (2012) Appeared in all 20 matches
for the Titans, coming off the bench in 19 of them... Big West
Conference All-Academic Team honoree... made her only start of the
season against Michigan State on Aug. 26... became only the 11th
different player in the history of the program to net a hat trick
(the 16th hat trick overall), scoring three times in a 4-1 win at
Pacific on Oct. 28 to earn Big West Conference Offensive Player of
the Week honors... finished with a career high five shots against
the Tigers -- one of three multiple-shot matches for her on the
season.
SOPHOMORE (2011) Appeared in 16 of the team's 20 matches on the year,
making three starts... scored her first career goal against Cal
Poly on Sept. 30 while setting a career high with three shots...
responded with a goal in her first career start against UC Irvine
on Oct. 14, tying her career best with three shots against the
Anteaters... also contributed her first career assist in a win over
CSU Bakersfield on Oct. 16... finished with shots in eight of her
16 appearances.
FRESHMAN (2010) Appeared in 13 matches off the bench.
HIGH SCHOOL
A 2010 graduate of Clairemont High School in San Diego,
Calif...four-year letter winner for the Chieftains... first-team
All-Central League honors all four of her prep seasons, serving as
team captain three times... helped the Chieftains to a 16-6-1
overall mark as a senior and a 10-2 record in league play, scoring
38 times and assisting on nine others... finished her career with
106 goals and 53 assists, including a high of 21 assists as a
sophomore... also played four seasons of volleyball.
PERSONAL
Born in San Diego, Calif... parents are Greg and Mari... has two
sisters, Kylia and Geneva... her father played collegiately at
Humboldt State... communications major with a minor in Spanish...
also considered Seattle Pacific and UC Santa Barbara before
selecting Cal State Fullerton... played club soccer for Nott's
Forest FC.
