THIS WEEK: Cal State Fullerton will compete in its second tournament of the spring schedule as the Titans head to the Fresno State Classic hosted by Fresno State beginning Monday morning.

THE COURSE: The Fresno State Classic will be held at the San Joaquin Country Club for the second consecutive season. The 6,217-yard, par-72 course sits on the banks of the San Joaquin River. The field will play 36 holes Monday beginning with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. and conclude with the final 18 holes Tuesday.

THE FIELD: Along with the Titans and host Bulldogs, 13 other teams will compete at the Fresno State Classic including Boise State, Florida Gulf Coast, Georgetown, Grand Canyon, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico State, Portland State, Rutgers, Sacramento State, Santa Clara and Seattle. Fresno State will also field four individual competitors while Georgetown, Nevada, Portland State, Rutgers and Santa Clara will field one individual apiece, making it 84 total golfers competing.

MEDALLA STARTS STRONG: Freshman Felicia Medalla started the spring season on a high note, finishing in a tie for 12th place at The Gold Rush. Medalla tied her career-best round with a 1-under 71 in the third round of the tournament and finished the 54 holes with a 6-over 222, a new career best. She is currently second on the team with a 76.41 scoring average and has played in four of the team's five tournaments this season.

THE GOLD RUSH RECAP: Junior Martina Edberg paced the Titans at The Gold Rush, finishing in a tie for seventh place overall after posting a 3-over 219, seven strokes behind medalist Robynn Ree of USC.

As a team, the Titans placed 11th overall after carding a cumulative 931 at the 54-hole event. Medalla posted a 6-over 222 while Brittany Farrell carded a 241 and Dakota Brown rounded out the Titans scoring with a 250.
