THIS WEEK: After a three-week break, the Cal State Fullerton women's golf team will head back out on the road this weekend as the Titans take part in the Mountain View Collegiate Invitational hosted by Missouri beginning Friday.

THE COURSE: The two-day event will be held at the 6,227-yard Par-72 Mountain View Golf Club in Tucson, Ariz. The teams will play the first 36 holes on Friday and wrap up the final 18 holes on Saturday. Both days will have a shotgun start beginning at 8 a.m.

THE FIELD: Along with the Titans and the host Tigers, there will be 20 teams overall participating at the Mountain View Collegiate Invitational including Arkansas State, BYU, Colorado State, Florida International, Fresno State, Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas State, Nebraska, New Mexico State, Northern Arizona, North Texas, Old Dominion, Ohio State, Purdue, Texas State, UNC Greensboro and Wyoming.

IN THE POLLS: The Titans come into the weekend ranked No. 105 in the most recent NCAA Head-to-Head polls released by GolfStat.com. The Mountain View Collegiate will feature 12 teams ranked in the top-100 including three ranked in the top-50. Iowa State comes in as the highest ranked team at No. 25 followed by Purdue (No. 33) and Ohio State (No. 43). The rest of the field includes Florida International (No. 59), Kansas State (No. 67), Missouri (No. 68), Fresno State (No. 72), BYU (No. 78), Nebraska (No. 89), Texas State (No. 90), Iowa (No. 93), and Colorado State (No. 100).

WINNING TIME: Martina Edberg recorded her third career victory at the Juli Inkster Spartan Invitational on Feb. 24. The sophomore shot a 3-over 219 throughout the 54-hole event and finished tied for first place. It was the second straight year Edberg earned medalist honors at the event as she took home her first career win at the Juli Inkster Spartan Invitational last year. Edberg also became the second Titans golfer to garner medalist honors in 2014-15 as Tisha Alyn Abrea took first place at the Rose City Collegiate on Sept. 29-30, 2014.

EVERYONE LOVES THE 70s: All six Fullerton golfers that have competed in a tournament during the 2014-15 season have a scoring average in the 70s, led by Edberg's 74.55 scoring average.
