2011-12 Seri Lee Action Photo PULLMAN, Wash. -- Cal State Fullerton sophomore Seri Lee shot a 1-under-par 71 on Tuesday to finish in a three-way tie for second place overall and help lead the Titans to a fourth-place finish at the 2012 Cougar Cup hosted by Washington State.

Fullerton finished with its lowest team score since the program was reinstated in 2009 with a three-round total of 892 (+28) at the Palouse Ridge Golf Club, finishing just nine strokes behind the host Cougars for third place. California, the team leader after day one, led wire-to-wire for the championship with a 13-over-par, 877, finishing five strokes ahead of second-place Gonzaga, which finished with an 18-over-par, 882.

Lee finished at even-par for the tournament with a career-best 216 over the three rounds, finishing four shots behind Washington State's Kristen Rue, who shot a 4-under-par 212 to take home individual honors. The second-place finish topped Lee's previous best at the Lexus Classic in Fresno, Calif., on March 12-13 last season when she tied for sixth place with a 225 total.

Sophomore Makayla Mier also posted a top-20 finish, shooting a final day 76 to finish in a tie for 16th with an 8-over-par 224.

However, the biggest mover on the day for Fullerton was sophomore Tisha Alyn Abrea, who moved up 14 spots in the standings after day one, shooting a 1-over-par 73 on Tuesday to move up into a tie for 22nd place with an 11-over-par 227. She recovered from a first-round 80 by shooting 74-73 (+3) over the final two rounds. Abrea was matched by senior Taylor Fowler, who also finished at 11-over for the tournament.

Senior Deidre Crabtree rounded out the Titans' card, finishing in a tie for 52nd (+20 236).
