SOPHOMORE (2016-17) Played in all 29 games while starting seven of them… averaged 0.9 points per game shooting 28.9% from the field… second on the team averaging 1.5 assists per game… scored a season high seven points at Denver on Nov. 22… had a career high eight assists against Montana on Nov. 30.
FRESHMAN (2015-16) Averaged 3.9 points and 1.3 rebounds per game…added 32 assists and 15 steals…appeared in 29 games and made 14 starts…totaled four games of double-digit scoring…scored 11 points on 5-of-7 shooting and added three assists at North Dakota State (12/28)…scored 11 points on 5-of-9 shooting at Cal Poly (01/16)…scored 12 points on 4-of-7 shooting at Hawai’i (01/28)…scored 10 points and knocked down a season-best six free throws vs. UC Riverside (02/11).
HIGH SCHOOL A 2015 graduate of C.K. McClatchy High School in Sacramento, Calif...played four years on the varsity squad for head coach Jessica Kunisaki… named Second Team All-Metro League in her sophomore and junior seasons…during her senior year she led the Lions to the CIF Division I Championship title while earning First Team All Metro League honors…was also named Athlete of the Year and won the CIF Sportsmanship Award her senior year with 246 points and 14 three-pointers as a senior.
PERSONAL Born in Sacramento, Calif…parents are David and Ashley Nubla has a sister Nicole and two brothers Brandon and Jason…majoring in health science…one of her unique superstitions is that she has to listen to the Hawaiian station on Pandora before every game…her favorite basketball player is Kobe Bryant…a very important part of her life is her support system (her family and friends). Her dad has been coaching her since she was young and without them she wouldn’t be who she is and where she’s at today.
