SERIES NOTES
CSUN: After suffering the largest defeat of the season at CSUN on Feb. 7, the Titans will look to return the favor at Titan Gym.  CSUN has dominated in recent history, taking a 9-1 record against Fullerton into Thursday's matchup.
Long Beach State: In the last matchup between the long-time rivals, The Beach narrowly pulled out the 74-70 victory over the Titans on Jan. 31 of this season.  Fullerton will look to split the season series and take that momentum into hosting the last two games of the season.

PARK'S PREVIEW
"This is another challenging week for our team as we face two extremely good basketball teams, we will have to play our absolute best to compete with both.  The encouraging thing for us is that we have shown signs of doing just that by winning at Cal Poly for the first time in 10 years. That was a great accomplishment for this team and this program and we need to continue to understand the effort and constant work and determination it takes to compete against the top teams in the league every night.  This week provides us with another two great tests for our young program." - Daron Park

CONFERENCE CALL
Cal State Fullerton is 206-253 all-time against the Big West Conference.

FULLERTON'S RECENT RESULTS
Feb. 21 at UC Santa Barbara
The Titans dropped the second game of its two-game central coast road trip on Saturday afternoon, 48-39, to UC Santa Barbara at The Thunderdome behind 10 points from Clair Watkins and eight assists from Onome Jemerigbe.
The Titans ran into a spirited UCSB team on senior day as the winless Gaucho's jumped out to an early 8-1 lead through the first six minutes of the game.  Strong defense mixed with Titan turnovers led to Fullerton's early offensive struggles in the opening minutes as the Titans were held scoreless through the first media timeout.
For the second game in a row the Titans shot under 20 percent from the field and from behind the three-point line through the first 20 minutes of the game.  Senior Chante Miles led the Titans on the offensive end with 7 points on 1-of-7 shooting from the field and 1-of-5 from deep.  Miles was one of four Titans to make a field goal in the opening frame as Fullerton shot 4-of-22 (18 percent) and 2-of-11 (18 percent) from behind the arc.
With 14:40 left to play in the game, Miles drained her second three-pointer of the game to hand the Titans their first lead of the game at 26-23.  Until the trey fell through the hoop UCSB never trailed in the game and led for 21 minutes through the first 28 minutes of play.
The last 10 minutes of the game the Titan offense returned to first half form and went ice cold, only managing nine points the rest of the way.  Gaucho sophomore point guard Jemerigbe took over the last half of the second frame, racking up 7 assists to add to her total from the first half to lead the team with eight assists on the afternoon.
Turnovers hurt the Titans all game long on Saturday afternoon, giving the ball away 22 times that directly lead to 22 Gaucho points.  Fullerton forced 14 Gaucho turnovers but could only turn those opportunities into nine points.
The Titans were led on the scoreboard by Miles who poured in 12 points while adding three assists in her 40 minutes on the floor.  Iwuoha turned in her seventh double double of the season with an 11-point, 15-rebound performance, and  Samantha Logan came off the bench to help the Titans on the glass, grabbing 10 rebounds and dishing out three assists.

BREAKING DOWN CSUN
The Matadors will enter Titan Gym on Thursday night looking to extend their four-game winning streak in Big West Conference action.  Entering the second-to-last week of regular season action, CSUN sits in a tie for 3rd place with Cal Poly with a record of 8-5.
Just two weeks ago the Matadors found themselves all alone in 6th place with a record of 5-5 in the Big West Conference standings.  CSUN has responded in the past four games to shoot back up the Big West leaderboard to get back into the championship picture.
Reigning Big West Player of the Year Ashlee Guay leads the Matadors on the offensive end of the floor, averaging 15 points, 4.7 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game.

BREAKING DOWN THE BEACH
After a scorching start to the season that saw Long Beach State win 17 of its first 18 games, and six of its first eight in Big West Conference play, the shorthanded 49er's come into week 15 on a two-game losing streak after losses to Cal Poly and at UC Davis.
The Beach were without the help of leading scorer Raven Benton and leading rebounder Devin Hudson in the loss at UC Davis in their last time out.  A weekend bye was exactly what the 49er's needed as they host Big West Confrerence leaders Hawai'i on Thursday and visit the Titans on Saturday.
Long Beach State relies on balanced scoring from up and down the entire roster with Benton the only 49er to average double figures in points this season (12 p.p.g.).  Lauren Spargo and Hallie Meneses are right behind Benton scoring 9.8 and 9.5 points per game, respectively.
