FULLERTON, Calif. – Following a long road trip last week, Cal State Fullerton men's soccer returns home to Titan Stadium to host UC Irvine and UC Davis.
The Titans kickoff the week Wednesday against UC Irvine with kickoff at 7:00 p.m. before taking on UC Davis at Titan Stadium on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. PT. Fullerton heads into this week's slate of games with a 9-5-1 record overall and a 1-3 record in Big West play. The Titans are currently tied for sixth place in the conference with three points.
Fullerton is 23-27-9 all-time when facing the Anteaters and are 13-11-5 when playing at Titan Stadium. Since 1984 when the two teams started playing each other, the Titans have outscored UC Irvine 96-92.
The Titans are 11-10-4 overall against UC Davis and are 4-3-1 at Titan Stadium. Fullerton lost last year's matchup at UC Davis but defeated the Aggies in the Big West Tournament Championship game in 2017 to advance to the NCAA Tournament.
After missing a couple games with a lower body injury, Christian Pinzon returned to the pitch last Saturday against Sacramento State, giving the Titans a much needed boost. Pinzon leads the team with 17 points on five goals and seven assists. His 17 points ranks sixth in the Big West Conference while his seven assists ranks second.
Fullerton is coming off of an all-important double overtime win over Sacramento State on the road last week. Alex Juarez scored in the 109th minute of action to give the Titans a 2-1 victory on an absolutely unbelievable goal. Juarez's goal was his first career goal at Cal State Fullerton.

The Titans win over Sacramento State gave Head Coach George Kuntz his 200th career win as a memeber of the Big West Conference. Kuntz is just the second coach in the history of the conference to get to 200 wins.
