CSF: Oscar Medina has been an effective
part-time performer for most of his three seasons as a Titan... In
2010 appeared in 10 of the 21 matches, 4 as a starter... Had 1
assist at UC Irvine on Oct. 23... Appeared in one half of the
Titans' 20 matches in 2008 but in only three, two as a starter, in
2009... Had one goal in 2009, the final one of the season in a 2-0
win over UC Riverside on Nov. 7... Had one shot on goal in two
attempts in 2008... Enrolled at CSF in the Fall of 2007 but did not
participate in soccer that season.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Santa Ana Valley
High School where he played for Coach Jose Sanchez... Team advanced
to the 2006 CIF Playoffs... Played midfielder... Also competed four
years in track and cross country.
PERSONAL: Born on Oct. 19, 1989, in Santa Ana,
California... Parents are Cornelio and Graciela Medina of Santa
Ana... Has a sister (Erika)... Most memorable sports thrill was
playing in the West Coast Classic Tournament... Enjoys running,
soccer and working out... Credits Coach Sanchez for the greatest
influence on his soccer career.
