STOCKTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton moved up a couple of spots Saturday as the Titans completed play at the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational hosted by the University of Pacific.

The Titans finished ninth overall, moving up two places from where they started the final round. The team shot a collective 17-over 869 after posting a tournament-best score of 282 on Saturday. BYU ran away with the overall team title, posting a 18-under 834, 16 strokes ahead of Grand Canyon and Sacramento State.

Matt Wilson led the way for the Titans, finishing the 54 holes with a 2-over 215 after posting an even-par 71 on Saturday. Wilson finished tied for 21st overall, 11 strokes back of medalist Patrick Fishburn of BYU.

Michael Sharkey finished tied for 32nd after posting a 4-over 217 while Mark Cobey recorded a 2-under 69 on Saturday to finish one stroke back at 218.

Ty Stites and CJ Coleman each wrapped up the team scoring with 223 to place in a tie for 54th. Jack Ireland, competing as an individual, finished tied for 41st overall with a 220.

The Titans will wrap up the fall portion of their schedule on Nov. 4-6 as they travel to Hawai'i to take part in the Ka'anapali Collegiate Classic.
