Warrior-Wave Intercollegiate Results

FULLERTON, Calif. – The Cal State Fullerton men's golf team finished 12th at the Warrior-Wave Intercollegiate presented by St. Regis Princeville Resort at Makai Golf Club in Princeville, Kaua'i on Wednesday.

The Titans shot 884 (+20) over three days of play, including a score of 290 (+2) on Wednesday afternoon.

Currently ranked 49th in the country by Golfweek, Baylor walked away with the victory after finishing the tournament with a score of 846 (-18). The Bears final round of golf on Wednesday was a score of 279 (-9). Baylor was followed by North Carolina State (853, -11), UC Irvine (858, -6), East Tennessee State (862, -2) and Pepperdine (867, +3).

The tournament, co-hosted by the University of Hawai'i and Pepperdine University, was host to five teams currently ranked in the top-50 by Golfweek including No. 35 San Diego State, No. 39 Indiana, No. 46 San Diego, No. 48 Georgia Southern and No. 49 Baylor.

With a total score of 206 at 10 under par, North Carolina State's Albin Choi finished at the top of the standings.

Fullerton senior Dakota Duerr finished 25th with an overall score of 219 (+3) after ending Wednesday with a round of 72 (E). Junior Mark Anguiano (221, +5) ended the tournament tied for 29th after recording a score of 69 (-3) on Wednesday.

Fullerton junior Corey Gard shot 79 (+1) on Wednesday and ended the tournament with a score of 224 (+8) tied for 50th in the standings.

Redshirt freshman Mark Jensma finished the tournament tied for 58th with a score of 227 (+11) after shooting 73 (+1) on Wednesday.  Sophomore Ryan Tetrault shot 76 (+4) in round three, and finished the tournament tied for 61st with a score of 228 (+12).
