Fullerton, Calif. - The Hoops Manifesto website is conducting a contest to select the NCAA Dunk of the Year and three of the 16 finalists are performed by Cal State Fullerton players.
Gerard Anderson, who recently competed in the NCAA's Slam Dunk Contest at the Final Four, is featured twice -- both against Cal State Northridge -- and Aaron Thompson is included for his slam against Long Beach State in Titan Gym.
The website has selected 16 of the best dunks from the 2009/10 NCAA basketball season and has paired them up in a single elimination tournament. The rules are pretty simple: visitors vote for which dunk is the best between each pair (please only vote once per dunk - no ballot stuffing). Each round of voting will be open for a week and they will continue until they have crowned a champion. As an added incentive to vote, there will be prizes from SLAM magazine and the website.
