Bobby Brown Makes All-District 1st Team

Feb. 28, 2007

Kansas City, MO - Cal State Fullerton senior guard Bobby Brown today was selected to the NABC (National Association of Basketball Coaches) Div. I All-District 15 first team. He joins UCLA's Aaron Afflalo and Darren Collison, USC's Nick Young and Arizona's Marcus Williams on the elite list. The 150 student-athletes on the 15 first and second teams are now eligible for the All-America teams to be announced at the end of the season.

Brown made the second team last year and was the only Big West Conference player represented. This season he is joined by District 15 second-teamer Alex Harris of UC Santa Barbara who is listed along with Ivan Radenovich and Chase Budinger of Areizona, Wendell White of UNLV and Justin Hawkins of New Mexico State.

The teams are selected and voted upon by member coaches of the NABC, which has 5,000 members.

Brown recently became the career scoring leader at Cal State Fullerton and he ranks in the top ten of Big West career leaders in scoring, assists and 3-point field goals. Fullerton plays a non-conference game at UC Davis Saturday night and then competes in the Big West post-season tourney next week in Anaheim.
