Box Score

FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton fell to San Francisco by a final score of 3-1 Friday night at Goodwin Field despite a complete game performance by Tanner Bibee.

Bibee was nothing short of spectacular for the Titans, pitching a complete game with nine strikeouts while only allowing three earned runs. In 23.1 innings this season, Bibee has only given up five earned runs.

Jacob Munoz led the way for San Francisco offensively, going 2-for-4 with all three of the team's RBI in the game. Munoz hit a two RBI single in the seventh inning and a RBI single in the ninth inning to extend the Dons lead.

Fullerton made a last ditch effort at a comeback in the ninth inning as Austin Schell led off the ninth with a double, but the Titans were only able to muster one run. Schell had a strong performance, going 3-for-4.

The Titans are back on the diamond Saturday night looking to even up the series. First pitch is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. PT.
