FULLERTON, Calif. – For the third consecutive game Cal State Fullerton (7-7) scored double-digit runs in their 10-4 victory over USC (5-10) Tuesday night at Goodwin Field.

It's the first time since 2009 that the Titans have scored double-digit runs in three or more consecutive games. In 2009 Fullerton continued the double-digit runs streak for five games.

Fullerton once again battled back from a deficit, earning its fifth comeback victory of the season. The Titans gave up one run in the first but came back to score two runs in the third and fifth and added five runs in the sixth inning before putting up one more in the eighth.

Freshman Zach Lew had a remarkable in just his second start of the season, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles, three RBI, four runs, a walk and his first career home run. With two outs and no runners on the bases, Lew crushed a solo shot to left field to tie the game at 1-1 and give Fullerton the momentum.

Following Lew's home run, Hank LoForte drew a walk to continue his incredible on-base streak, extending it to 59 consecutive games. LoForte's impressive streak leads the country for longest active on-base streak. Mitchell Berryhill then drive in LoForte with a single up the middle to give the Titans a 2-1 lead that they would not relinquish.

Berryhill went 3-for-4 Tuesday against USC with a single game career-high four RBI. The Utah native has been on a tear so far this season, hitting .422 with a .509 on-base percentage and a .533 slugging percentage along with nine RBI and six runs.

Dillon Brown picked up his first win over the season (1-0) has he came on in relief in the fourth inning and only allowed one hit and struck out two batters on his way to three shutout innings. Timothy Josten started the game for Fullerton and allowed just one run in three innings of work.

Fullerton has now won two-straight and looks to extend its modest winning streak as it hosts James Madison in a three-game series beginning Friday with first pitch schedule for 7:00 p.m. PT.
