AS A SENIOR (2014)
Played in a career high 53 games, making 51 starts... Batted .284
with 46 hits and 20 RBI... Was third on the team with 30 runs
scored and a .403 on-base percentage... Had eight stolen bases in
12 attempts... In conference, batted .273 with 11 runs scored and
10 RBI with a .371 on-base percentage... Recorded a 19-game hitting
streak, the longest streak by any player during the season and the
best streak by a Fullerton player since Corey Jones and Nick
Ramirez strung together streaks of 24 and 20 straight games
respectively in 2010... During the streak, batted .339 (21-for-62)
with a .455 on-base percentage. Had one double and 10 RBI during
the 19 games, leading the Titans to a 12-7 record in thta stretch.
Also went 3-for-3 in stolen base attempts, scored 14 runs and
walked 12 times, the most by any player during that stretch...
Reached base in 25 straight games to end the season, the second
longest streak on the team during the season... Made his first
career start at first base on Apr. 19 at Cal Poly... Led the team
with 18 sacrifice bunts, ranking 10th in the nation and second in
the Big West Conference as well as fifth in the Cal State Fullerton
record book for most sacrifices in a single season... Finished his
career with 36 sacrifice hits, placing him sixth on the Titans
all-time career list... Was second on the team with a .366
(15-for-41) batting average with runners in scoring position... Was
one of four players to drive in four RBI in a single game during
the season, doing so against USC on May 20 in a 17-3 victory...
Walked a career-high three times against San Diego on Apr. 29...
Stole two bases in a game in a 8-1 victory over Fresno State on
Apr. 30.
SUMMER 2013
In 45 games for the Alexandria Blue Anchors, hit .296
with 31 runs scored, 45 hits, 11 doubles, one home run, 19 RBIs, 29
walks and nine stolen bases.
AS A JUNIOR (2013)
Appeared in 39 games and made 16 starts…was a defensive
replacement at third base, shortstop and second base…hit
.192 (14-for-73) with 19 runs scored, one triple and seven
RBIs…drew 10 walks and was successful in four of six stolen
base attempts…batted 2-for-2 and scored two runs in a
series-opening 7-2 victory at TCU (02/22)…hit 2-for-3 with
one RBI and one run scored in an 11-inning 8-7 victory over
Nebraska (03/19)…batted 3-for-6 with two RBIs and four runs
scored in a 25-0 victory over Pacific that completed the series
sweep (03/30).
SUMMER 2012
Was named to the California Collegiate League 2012 first
team after batting .313 with 14 RBIs, 16 runs scored, six doubles,
one triple and eight stolen bases for San Luis Obispo
Blues.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2012)
Keegan Dale saw limited action as a backup infielder
• Appeared in 16 games, starting 9 times -- all in February
and early March • Batted .290 in 31 at bats • Was hitting
.429 after March 4 but went 0-for-9 over next three starts and
batted only one more time all season • Appeared in two of the
NCAAA Regional games as a pinch runner and substitute at third base
• Went 3-for-4 with a double, triple, 3 runs and 2 RBI in an
11-10 win over TCU on Feb. 26.
AS A FRESHMAN (2011)
Passed up redshirt year opportunity when infield
injuries mounted • Appeared in 19 games, starting 16 all at
shortstop • Made collegiate debut on Apr. 26 and flawlessly
handled six not always routine chances • Contributed
offensively in next game with 3-for-4 performance with 3 RBI in
12-6 win over Pacific on Apr. 29 • Had two other multi-hit
games • Made two errors in the ninth-inning vs. Long Beach
State on May 13 but then made difficult over-the-shoulder catch for
final out of 4-2 victory.
HIGH SCHOOL
Was a four-year letterwinner at Martin Luther King High
School in Riverside, Calif., under Head Coach Ken Scott • Was
the only freshman on the varsity squad in 2007 • As a
sophomore hit .511 and had a .569 on-base percentage; he committed
no errors as the starting second baseman • Batted .430 with 22
runs scored as a junior; had a .515 on-base percentage •
Continued to tear it up as a senior, hitting .402 with a career
high 33 runs scored, 20 RBI and 18 stolen bases • Made the
King High School Honor Roll his senior season.
